The WCTA Wrangle at Dodge City Days has been a staple for the past three years, featuring various informative speakers. This year, we are excited to announce that we have secured two distinguished speakers to enrich the event. We invite everyone to join us for this engaging experience!
We actively promote an understanding of cattle trails through our online platforms, including our website and Facebook page, where we share valuable historical information related to this significant aspect of our heritage.
We are pleased to announce that, with the support of the Dodge City Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), we will distribute a quarterly newsletter featuring articles from various authors. This initiative aims to keep our community informed and engaged with relevant content.
Efforts to promote local history in Dodge City and its surrounding areas will be ongoing, particularly in collaboration with historical groups. As the city continues to grow, it is essential to identify the Western Cattle Trail in partnership with historians and city officials as future developments occur. Additionally, we plan to install signboards highlighting significant areas of historical interest throughout the community.
Nationally -
